This month kicked off with website updates, a huge thank you to Pat at AHSRI for his IT expertise assisting with the various page layouts available. Networking came into the picture at the Paul Scully 6th Anniversary Lunch to promote Altered Abilities and my book – SHIT!! I’m 26 and had a stroke. After working with James during the month at SNAP Printing in Wollongong to finalise the proof and payment of the first batch of copies, I am excited to say they should be available within the next couple of weeks!! I met with Theresa at UOW to discuss possible ways Altered Abilities may be able to tie in with the programs they deliver during Orientation Week next year. The end of the month saw me visit Bulli High School as part of the Living Books Program run by Wollongong City Council. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with the students and received great feedback on the content of my talk.
