February 2023

An awesome start to the year with sales continuing for my book, a lot of appreciated positive feedback of the content, an ABC Illawarra Radio interview with Nick Rheinberger and inclusion in the AROC (Australasian Rehabilitation Outcomes Centre) 2022 Annual Report for speaking at the 20th Birthday Luncheon last October all at the beginning of the month.

I attended the first Synapse Meeting for 2022, catching up with the group as well as welcoming some new faces. As sales were going so well, I approached Coles Berkeley in relation to a stall out the front which spurred me on to purchase tear drop banner promoting Altered Abilities while I was there. The stall went well with customers enquiring about both the book and my services.

Towards the end of the month, I received communications from Wollongong City Council’s Living Books program for their first talk of the year. I happily put my hat in to speak as the young students they talk with seem to get a lot from the various ‘Living Books’ experiences.

Great story about my book with Nick Rheinberger
Great day spent out the front of Coles Berkeley
